Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to remove difficulties for businesses

At the meeting, leaders of the Son La Provincial Business Association reported on the operation situation, directions and tasks in the coming time; difficulties and obstacles in production activities of enterprises in the province and proposed recommendations and solutions.

Leaders of Son La Provincial Business Association, member organizations and a number of enterprises also gave many opinions, recommendations and proposals related to the difficulties and problems of enterprises in the area.

Representatives of the leaders of departments and branches of Son La province also received, explained, and responded to the opinions, recommendations and proposals of the enterprises raised at the working session.

Leaders of Son La Provincial Business Association proposed a number of recommendations and solutions to solve difficulties for businesses.

Right from the beginning of the year, the Standing Committee of the Son La Provincial Business Association issued 3 documents reflecting the recommendations and proposals of enterprises; organized a review of the settlement of recommendations and proposals for 48 recommendations and proposals of enterprises that were compiled in 2024 to coordinate and urge departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to consider answering and resolving.

Son La Provincial Business Association has provided information on the results of the resolution and responses from the authorities to its members. Up to now, the basic recommendations have been resolved.

NTF Hoang Phat Joint Stock Company proposed to remove difficulties and obstacles in investment policies and procedures in Son La province.

There are currently 19 recommendations related to land, planning, site clearance, procedures and documents... that have been reported by the sectors to competent authorities for further consideration and resolution .

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Viet, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province, requested departments, branches and sectors to proactively review and grasp the difficulties and obstacles of enterprises and investors operating in the area with the motto "treating difficulties and obstacles of enterprises as our own difficulties and obstacles".

Do not allow delays, shirking of responsibility or prolonged difficulties to affect the production and business activities of enterprises and the investment environment of Son La province.

Timely implement support policies under the province's authority, such as: Support for land lease, reduction of corporate income tax, support for human resource training, support for start-up businesses, innovation, etc. Synthesize policies that are still stuck and slow to implement to promptly report to competent authorities for consideration and resolution.

Representatives of Son La Coffee Association hope that Son La province will continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions for businesses in the province.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province, also requested departments and branches to organize a comprehensive review and assessment of the implementation of policies to support small and medium-sized enterprises in the province, ensuring adherence to the direction of the Prime Minister in Directive No. 10/CT-TTg dated March 25, 2025.

Synthesize and review the progress of resolving business recommendations; advise the People's Committee of Son La province to promptly remove obstacles and unlock resources for development.

Research and propose priority mechanisms to support provincial enterprises to participate in key project programs, in accordance with legal regulations.

Many opinions of the Business Association and enterprises revolve around the difficulties and problems in land conversion procedures for mineral mines in the area.

At the meeting, the head of the People's Committee of Son La province emphasized: Son La province's policy is to remove practical obstacles, creating maximum conditions within the framework of legal regulations for projects to be implemented soon and creating favorable conditions for production and business enterprises.

Resolutely handle projects that are unlikely to be completed due to limited investor capacity or are no longer effective or feasible. Especially investors who intentionally intend to keep land. Resolutely reclaim ineffectively used land to create a clean land fund to serve investors who truly want to develop production and business.
