Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung joined the Prime Minister's delegation on an official visit to Korea.

With the consent of the Prime Minister and the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, from June 30 to July 3, 2024, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung joined the Prime Minister and his wife on an official visit to Korea.

Implementing the working program, on July 1, at the Vietnam - Korea Business Forum in Seoul, witnessed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and representatives of central ministries, sectors, business communities, and investors of the two countries, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung presented a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with T&T Group and SK E&S Company on cooperation in investment, trade, energy conversion and green growth; Memorandum of Understanding with SK Group on cooperation in developing energy solution packages in Quang Tri province.

These are important memorandums of understanding, contributing to helping Quang Tri province strive and aim to become the energy center of the Central region in the coming time.

Previously, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung attended the Conference "Meeting Korean friends" and visited and met with the staff of the Embassy and the Vietnamese community in Korea, attended a roundtable discussion on investment and business promotion with leaders of nearly 20 leading Korean corporations in many fields as assigned by the Prime Minister.
