Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tam inspected the site clearance work of Rach Mieu 2 Bridge.

Accompanying the delegation were representatives of the Department of Transport, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Finance; People's Committees of Ben Tre City, Chau Thanh, My Thuan Project Management Board, and Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Traffic Works.

The delegation inspected the site clearance work for the construction of Rach Mieu 2 bridge in Son Dong and Binh Phu communes (Ben Tre city), and Tam Phuoc commune (Chau Thanh district). The delegation visited households in the project area such as Mr. Luong Van Hinh, Mr. Huynh Van Minh, Mr. Tran Duy Thuan, etc. It is known that these households still request resettlement arrangements, or still complain about land prices, etc., so they have not yet accepted compensation and support and handed over the road surface for Rach Mieu 2 bridge.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the households will continue to pay attention and work with the local authorities to properly implement the regulations, contributing to the overall success of the province in the site clearance work, helping the project to be implemented on schedule, creating an important driving force for Ben Tre to develop its economy and society in the coming time.
