The 21.7-hectare sofa, cushion and interior decoration production and trading project in Son Loi Industrial Park has 100% Japanese capital, invested by Nitori Vietnam Export Processing Enterprise with a total investment of 61.5 million USD. The project has completed 100% of the factory items, and is expected to complete procedures and come into operation in April 2025.
Currently, the project is facing difficulties in the wastewater treatment category because the centralized wastewater treatment system of Son Loi Industrial Park has not yet come into operation.
Ibase Technology Vietnam project is a 100% Taiwanese-invested project, invested by Ibase Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd., specializing in manufacturing electronic components, with a total investment of 9 million USD, and a production scale of 1 hectare in Ba Thien II Industrial Park.
The project started construction in August 2024 and is expected to be operational in May 2025. Currently, the project investor has proposed to increase the total investment to 23 million USD and expand the production sector in Vinh Phuc.
The Ba Thien I Industrial Park infrastructure construction project was assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to CNCTech Group as the investor, divided into 3 phases: Phase 1 has a scale of 16 hectares, phase 2 has a scale of 25 hectares and phase 3 has a scale of 32 hectares.
The project has completed phase 1, phase 2 has completed 95% of investment items, and is expected to be completed in 2025.
Currently, the project has attracted 16 secondary investors with a total investment capital of 800 million USD. The project investor proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to build a social housing area for workers, creating favorable conditions to attract investment after the project is completed.
After inspecting the progress of some projects in the industrial park in Binh Xuyen district, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong assigned the Industrial Park Management Board to synthesize the proposals and recommendations of investors, coordinate with departments, branches and localities to create favorable conditions for investors to speed up progress and soon put the projects into operation.
Regarding the proposal of Nitori Vietnam Export Processing Enterprise, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to advise the Provincial People's Committee to request the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to promptly appraise and license the centralized wastewater treatment system of Son Loi Industrial Park as soon as possible.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the investor of Son Loi Industrial Park infrastructure to urgently complete the industrial park infrastructure to best serve the needs of secondary investors.
With the proposal of Ibase Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd., Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong agreed with the proposal to increase investment capital, expand the scale of project investment of the enterprise, and assigned the Industrial Park Management Board to coordinate with relevant departments and branches to guide the enterprise to carry out investment procedures according to regulations.
Regarding the proposal to build social housing for workers at Ba Thien I Industrial Park, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Industrial Park Management Board and the Department of Construction to coordinate with relevant departments and branches to review the planning and propose to the Provincial People's Committee an investment plan for social housing projects, creating favorable conditions to attract investment and ensuring social security in the locality.
