(Baoquangngai.vn) - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang requested the investor and related agencies, units and localities to focus on removing obstacles and speeding up the implementation progress of the project of the Road connecting Thach Bich Bridge to Tinh Phong and the project of the Tra Khuc River downstream dam.

On the morning of April 21, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang inspected the progress of the project of the Road connecting Thach Bich Bridge to Tinh Phong and the project of the Tra Khuc River downstream dam. Accompanying him were Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ngai City Party Committee Ngo Van Trong and representatives of relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang listened to a report on the implementation of the project of the Road connecting Thach Bich Bridge to Tinh Phong.

The project of the road connecting Thach Bich bridge to Tinh Phong has a total length of 6.11km. Of which, the main route is more than 4.82km long, the branch route is more than 1.29km long. The total investment is more than 694 billion VND, the implementation period is from 2019 - 2025.

According to the report of the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (PMU), up to now, localities have handed over 3.57km of construction site to the contractor, reaching 58.4%. Of which, the section through Quang Ngai City is 2.5/3.04km (reaching 82%), the section through Son Tinh district is 1.07/3.06km, (reaching 35%).

The project of the road connecting Thach Bich bridge to Tinh Phong has a total investment of more than 694 billion VND, implementation period from 2019 - 2025.

There are still 208 households/303 plots/5.69ha that have not yet developed a compensation, support and resettlement plan. Up to now, the cumulative construction value of the project is 190 billion VND, reaching 46.47% of the contract value. In the implementation plan for the coming time, agencies and units will continue to focus on accelerating the construction progress of the sections that have been handed over the site, especially focusing on completing the project's intersections with National Highway 1 and provincial road DT.622C.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang emphasized that the project of the road connecting Thach Bich Bridge to Tinh Phong is a key project with an important role and significance. After completion, the project will not only help reduce traffic volume on National Highway 1, but also help connect regions, exploit land funds on both sides, and create momentum for local economic and social development.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang requested relevant units and localities to actively coordinate to speed up the project's progress.

Relevant agencies and units urgently coordinate to remove difficulties and obstacles in site clearance (GPMB) to speed up construction progress. Quang Ngai City must complete GPMB in May 2025; Son Tinh District must complete before June 15, 2025.

The total investment of the Tra Khuc River downstream dam project is 1,498 billion VND; the project implementation period is from 2018 to 2025. Up to now, resettlement has been arranged for people in the affected area at 2 locations. That is the Lien Hiep I resettlement area with 23 lots and the Lien Hiep I resettlement area (expansion) is investing in 38 lots in Truong Quang Trong ward (Quang Ngai city).

Up to now, the units have basically completed the construction items for the area of ​​land handover. The cumulative implementation value reached 1,130 billion VND, reaching 88.4% of the contract value. In the coming time, the Management Board will coordinate with related units to issue an adjustment to the notice of land recovery for the Tra Khuc River downstream dam project; complete the procedures to end the public posting of the compensation, support and site clearance plan (phase 1); urge contractors to speed up the construction progress to ensure the schedule...

At the meeting, representatives of the Management Board of Quang Ngai City reported on the implementation status and difficulties and obstacles of the Tra Khuc River downstream dam project. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang requested departments, branches and localities to absorb the opinions at the meeting. In particular, focusing on speeding up the site clearance work, while balancing and harmonizing the interests of the people on the basis of ensuring compliance with the provisions of law.
