Continuing the working program in Europe, this evening, September 30 (Vietnam time), a high-level delegation of Ha Tinh province led by Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai attended the "12th European Overseas Vietnamese Business Forum" held in Budapest, Hungary. The forum was attended by leaders of Vietnamese embassies in Hungary, Greece, the Czech Republic, Germany...; the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Nghe An province. Also attending from Ha Tinh province were Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Tu Anh, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee Ha Van Trong, Colonel Nguyen Hong Phong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches, and Ha Tinh enterprises. The Union of Vietnamese Business Associations in Europe was established in September 2006. Over the years, the Union has created an effective environment for Vietnamese businesses in European countries to meet, exchange information, share business experiences, and seek cooperation opportunities, contributing to promoting effective business, thereby contributing to the development of the homeland.

At the forum, delegates said that in recent times, a large amount of domestic goods have been connected by overseas Vietnamese businesses to the European market. However, many regional specialties have not been exploited commensurate with their potential, especially in the Central provinces.
Delegates focused their discussions on two main topics: transforming business operations in the digital revolution era and promoting the export of goods from the Central provinces, including Ha Tinh, to the European market.
In particular, at the forum, the delegation of Ha Tinh province promoted and introduced the potentials, advantages and development orientation of the locality through a video clip presentation.
Speaking at the forum, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai said that after more than 30 years of re-establishing the province and implementing the country's renovation, Ha Tinh has made rapid and steady progress. In the development process, Ha Tinh has determined the motto of "taking enterprises as the center"; therefore, the province has issued many policies and mechanisms, creating the most favorable and open conditions for enterprises. Thanks to that, Ha Tinh's investment environment is improving, becoming one of the top 10 provinces in the country in attracting foreign investment.

Up to now, the province has 1,400 domestic investment projects with investment capital equivalent to 6 billion USD and 69 FDI projects with registered investment capital of over 16 billion USD.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province also expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the contributions of the overseas Vietnamese community and the overseas Vietnamese business community in Europe who have always turned towards their homeland and country; actively contributing to promoting development, integration and social security.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai emphasized that strategic planning must be one step ahead. Ha Tinh is the second province in the country to have its Provincial Planning approved by the Prime Minister for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050. Accordingly, Ha Tinh's goal is to be among the 20 provinces with the largest economic scale in the country by 2030, becoming a growth pole of the region.
To achieve this goal, Ha Tinh hopes to continue to receive cooperation, support, coordination and companionship from the domestic and foreign business community. We hope that overseas Vietnamese businesses in Europe will introduce and promote the potential, advantages, preferential investment policies and mechanisms as well as priority investment calling fields and projects of Ha Tinh.
At the same time, connecting and creating favorable conditions to help Ha Tinh businesses seek opportunities and cooperate in investment and business with businesses and partners in European countries. Supporting and creating conditions to help overseas Vietnamese in general, and Ha Tinh children in particular, who are studying, working and living in Europe, to ensure a stable life and continue to turn towards their homeland and country.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai emphasized: Ha Tinh will always open its doors and be ready to welcome businesses and investors; at the same time, it is committed to always accompanying and creating the most favorable conditions for corporations and businesses to successfully implement projects and ensure sustainable development.
