Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee chaired a meeting to remove obstacles at 3 projects

Kinhtedothi – On January 3, 2025, the Special Working Group of the Hanoi People's Committee on removing difficulties and obstacles, effectively supporting businesses, investors, and investment projects in the city held its 6th meeting.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh - Head of the Working Group chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Trong Dong; Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ha Minh Hai, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen and leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities.

According to the report of the Special Task Force, as of January 2, 2025, the departments and branches have completed 32/52 assigned tasks. Since the end of the 5th meeting, the City People's Committee has continued to receive recommendations from investors; cumulatively up to January 2, 2025, there have been 76 recommendations from 64 investors; all of which have had written instructions for departments and branches, units to review and report.

At the meeting, 3 projects were brought up for resolution this time: Bao Ngoc high-rise social housing project in Thach Ban ward (Long Bien district); Investment project to build a general hospital combined with a community health care center in Dan Phuong and Phuong Dinh communes (Dan Phuong district) and Housing construction project for officers and soldiers of Department B05 - Ministry of Public Security in Dai Mo ward (Nam Tu Liem district).

These three projects are facing problems related to land allocation and transfer procedures as well as investment policies, lasting for many years.

At the meeting, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh discussed with enterprises, investors, relevant units and localities about the actual situation of each project. At the same time, he directed departments and branches to coordinate with local authorities to organize inspections, reviews and resolve any arising problems under the authority of the units.

Regarding difficulties and problems beyond the authority, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh requested the Office of the People's Committee to synthesize and promptly report to the Government and the Prime Minister's Special Working Group for consideration and resolution, ensuring benefits for people and businesses.
