What did the Chairman of Thua Thien Hue say about Vo Quang Phu Duc - the champion of Road to Olympia 2024?

In the final round of the Road to Olympia 2024, Vo Quang Phu Duc led all rounds to win the championship with 220 points. This is the third laurel wreath of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted in particular and of Thua Thien Hue province in general.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province Nguyen Van Phuong said that achieving the laurel wreath was a well-deserved achievement for Phu Duc's efforts. Phu Duc's victory, along with the high achievements of Thua Thien Hue students in national and international competitions, has affirmed the quality ofeducation in the province, and education is worthy of being one of the pillars to build Thua Thien Hue into a centrally-run city.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong thanked Phu Duc, his parents, teachers at the schools he attended, especially teachers at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, who have always cared for, supported and created all conditions for him to develop and shine his talent.

"With his outstanding achievements and determination, champion Vo Quang Phu Duc will have many more steps forward in the future. I wish him continued success in his studies and future scientific career that he has pursued to contribute to the development of his homeland," said the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province.

Mr. Nguyen Phu Tho - Principal of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted commented: "Vo Quang Phu Duc's success today is the foundation for him to reach high and fly far to new levels of knowledge to become a useful person for his homeland and country."

Sharing at the ceremony, Vo Quang Phu Duc expressed his thanks to the provincial leaders, parents, teachers, and friends who have always cared, supported, and accompanied him in the process of conquering the Road to Olympia in 2024.

"My future dream is to become a computer programmer to try to contribute as much as possible to society and to the development of technology in Vietnam," Phu Duc shared.
