She resigned from her position as Deputy General Director of Vietbank not because of health or any other personal reasons but because she was busy and focused on building two cancer treatment centers, the Stem Cell Center and the Nuclear Center (under Gia An 115 Hospital). Currently, she and Gia An 115 Hospital are negotiating with Siemens and Sumitumo Group to build these two centers and are expected to put them into operation this year.

"The stem cell center and the nuclear center for cancer treatment are my passion. I work all day long and even though I am not directly in charge, I am still the heart of Vietbank," Ms. Tran Thi Lam said.
Ms. Tran Thi Lam is one of the founding shareholders, building VietBank from the early days of its establishment (2006). She is also the founding Chairwoman of Hoa Lam Group.
