Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park is located in Thai Binh Economic Zone, Thai Thuy District - a model of sustainable development with a complex of industrial parks, urban areas and services. The industrial park is planned, designed and invested to become a green and smart industrial park in Thai Binh, currently attracting 14 secondary projects with a total registered investment capital of 1,186.5 million USD, using 170.3 hectares of land.
Speaking here, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue expressed his joy and congratulated the initial but very important results of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park. The National Assembly Chairman said that in the past, when mentioning Thai Binh, people were referring to the rice-growing land, the homeland of "Sister Hai Nam Ton", but Thai Binh today is transforming, with rapid economic and industrial development. The current development mindset of Thai Binh is different, both consolidating the supporting role of agriculture and promoting the advantages of the locality, especially the spread of the very strong development axes Hanoi - Quang Ninh - Hai Phong... The National Assembly Chairman expressed his belief that the position of Thai Binh is now different and will be very different in the future.
Emphasizing the two 100-year goals set by our Party in the Resolution of the 13th National Congress, the National Assembly Chairman assessed that Thai Binh has achieved a fairly high economic growth rate in recent years, among the highest in the country. However, with a modest economic scale and many difficulties in starting from, in order to overcome, keep up with, and progress with other developed localities in the country, the National Assembly Chairman suggested that Thai Binh province must accelerate further, setting a double-digit growth target each year.
The National Assembly Chairman highly appreciated the planning and development orientation of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park, which has linked industrialization with urbanization and services. This is an important development model, located in the overall Thai Binh Economic Zone with an area of about 30 thousand hectares. Believing that the "big group" is already there, the foundation for development is good, the National Assembly Chairman emphasized the implementation work and hoped that investors who have committed to invest will focus on implementing it most effectively.
The National Assembly Chairman said that when approving the Land Use Plan and Plan, the National Assembly allowed the Government to report to the National Assembly Standing Committee to adjust industrial land quotas for localities that have performed well when necessary. When the Government submits, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider and decide immediately because the legal foundation is available and this adjustment is necessary to improve the efficiency of land use, thereby helping localities accelerate development, create more jobs for people, and contribute to the overall development of the country.
The National Assembly Chairman also requested the Management Board of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park and Thai Binh Economic Zone to focus on effectively implementing tasks, orientations and development strategies, making the activities of the Industrial Park and Economic Zone truly flourish; at the same time, take good care of implementing policies for workers and laborers.
At the Industrial Park, the National Assembly Chairman presented 200 gifts to local workers and families of policy beneficiaries.
The National Assembly Chairman visited the production line and encouraged workers of OHSUNG VINA Thai Binh Company - a company that produces engine components (motors) for electronic appliances and accessories for LED screens...
The National Assembly Chairman hopes that the Company's leaders will continue to ensure full policies and regimes for workers and laborers, and take care of their material and spiritual lives so that workers and laborers can be attached to and feel secure in their work, contributing to the development of the Company.
* Earlier in the morning of the same day, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the delegation offered incense and flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Uncle Ho Temple and Uncle Ho Statue with Vietnamese farmers at Thai Binh Square, Hoang Dieu Ward, Thai Binh City.
During his lifetime, Uncle Ho visited Thai Binh 5 times. During his last visit (January 1967), he hoped that "comrades and compatriots will try harder to make Thai Binh a model province in all aspects". The statue of Uncle Ho with Vietnamese farmers is located in the Thai Binh Square architectural complex. It is an important work, expressing Uncle Ho's feelings for the people of Thai Binh, as well as the feelings, respect and gratitude of the Party Committee, government and people of Thai Binh towards beloved Uncle Ho.
