The National Assembly Chairman also emphasized the task of strengthening, consolidating and further tightening the relationship between the legislative bodies of the two countries, which has been very warm and has a long tradition, promoting the role of parliamentary cooperation in implementing and concretizing the strategic cooperation orientations between the two countries.

At the meeting, the National Assembly Chairman said that within the framework of the visit, there will be meetings, talks, and contacts with key leaders of the Chinese Party and State and leaders of a number of Chinese localities right after the second session of the Two Sessions in 2024... Regarding the activities of the National Assembly, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that in the context of many difficulties and challenges due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the complicated and unpredictable developments of the international situation, the National Assembly has been proactive, flexible, creative, and innovative in organizing activities, effectively performing its functions and tasks, and making worthy contributions to the common achievements of our country.

Since the beginning of the 15th National Assembly term, the National Assembly has successfully held 12 sessions, including 6 extraordinary sessions, and is actively preparing for the 7th session to take place next May. The National Assembly has made timely, correct, and practical decisions, including many special, unprecedented decisions, to promptly handle new and difficult issues arising in the recent special context. Regarding legislation, the National Assembly has passed many important laws in the spirit of development, including many new policies related to the overseas Vietnamese community.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue acknowledged and commended the important contributions of the Vietnamese Embassy and the Vietnamese community in China to the bilateral relationship.
