On the morning of September 10 (local time), in Moscow, continuing his official visit to the Russian Federation, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man received Chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov. Also attending were National Assembly Vice Chairman Nguyen Khac Dinh and many official members of the high-ranking delegation of our National Assembly.
On behalf of the high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man expressed his joy at returning to visit Russia and was impressed by the positive and rapid changes in the beautiful capital Moscow.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated that the Party, State and people of Vietnam are forever grateful for the valuable support and wholehearted assistance that the people of the former Soviet Union, now the Russian Federation, have given to Vietnam in the past struggle for national independence and reunification and in the cause of national construction and development today.
Vietnam has consistently considered the Russian Federation a top important partner and has always affirmed that Vietnam will never join any anti-Russian force, nor support or participate in embargoes or isolation of the Russian Federation.
Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man Although the international situation is still complicated, the relationship between the two countries continues to be strengthened through high-level delegation exchanges from both sides. Most recently, the State visit of President Putin left a deep impression on the Vietnamese people, continuing to strengthen the political trust between the leaders of the two countries.
On this occasion, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man respectfully thanked the Communist Party of the Russian Federation for sending Party Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Eurasian Integration Committee of the Russian State Duma Leonist Kalashnikov to attend the state funeral of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, demonstrating the close ties between the two parties and the comrades' appreciation for the late General Secretary's contributions to Vietnam-Russia relations.
To further strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two countries, on this occasion, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man asked the Chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Communist Party of the Russian Federation to support strengthening the cooperation between the political party channel between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, as well as with other major political parties of the Russian Federation.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man believes that the Vietnamese community in Russia and the Russian community in Vietnam always play an active role as a bridge to promote exchanges and cooperation between the people of the two countries, contributing positively to the Vietnam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man congratulated the great achievements that the Russian Federation has made, especially ensuring domestic socio-political stability, dynamic economic development, and enhancing Russia's position in the international arena; and congratulated Russia on successfully organizing the local elections on September 8, 2024.
Appreciating the contributions of the Chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the contents discussed at the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man realized that although the relationship between the two sides has many difficulties and challenges, both sides are making every effort to find ways to overcome difficulties and preserve the good traditional relationship.
Chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov highly appreciated the role and contributions of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to the cause of building and developing Vietnam. According to the Chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is a talented leader who has led Vietnam to make great strides in development and achieved remarkable results.
According to the Chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Vietnam's achievements and development results are one of the successful models for other countries to learn from. The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation affirmed that, with affection and responsibility, he will continue to make efforts to contribute to maintaining the good traditional friendship with Vietnam; maintaining a close cooperative relationship, maintaining and developing relations with the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Vietnamese people, who are close friends and reliable partners of the Russian Federation.
