National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man holds talks with Armenian Parliament Chairman Alen Simonyan

This morning, April 3 (local time), that is, the same afternoon Hanoi time, at the headquarters of the Armenian Parliament, the capital Yerevan, Chairman of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan presided over a solemn welcoming ceremony, welcoming Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man and his wife along with the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation on an official visit to Armenia.

This is the first visit of the Head of the Vietnamese legislature to Armenia, and also the highest-level visit of a Vietnamese leader to the two countries since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992. The visit therefore has profound political significance, demonstrating Vietnam's respect for the traditional friendship with Armenia and its desire to strengthen political trust with Armenia, creating a foundation to promote cooperation in many fields, bringing the relationship between the two countries to a new height.

Immediately after the official welcoming ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and National Assembly Chairman Alen Simonyan held talks.

Immediately after the talks, President of the Armenian National Assembly Alen Simonyan respectfully invited President of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to visit the Main Meeting Room of the Armenian National Assembly.
