Cultural resources crystallize into outstanding values ​​of Bac Ninh people

At the ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man presented the Party Committee, government and people of Bac Ninh province with the following certificates of special national monument status for Dinh Bang Communal House - the most typical architectural work in Kinh Bac region, not only of historical - cultural - architectural value, but also a symbol of community spirit, the pride of Tu Son people in particular and Bac Ninh people in general; Certificate of national monument status for the memorial house of comrade Le Quang Dao - an outstanding son of Dinh Bang homeland, exemplary leader, the first National Assembly Chairman of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam - who left many marks in the process of building and defending the country.

The National Assembly Chairman also presented the Decision to recognize the National Treasure for the golden seal “Hoang De Chi Bao” - a special antique, a symbol of power and a testament to an important historical period of Vietnam, marking an important milestone in the transition from the monarchy of more than a thousand years to the democracy of the Vietnamese people - the state of Vietnam - the Democratic Republic, the predecessor of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Ho Chi Minh era, and at the same time it is of special artistic value.

Speaking at the ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man expressed his joy at attending the 1015th anniversary of King Ly Cong Uan's coronation as Emperor and the ceremony to receive the Dinh Bang Communal House as a special national relic; receiving the certificate of ranking the Le Quang Dao Memorial Site as a national relic and admiring the national treasure "Hoang De Chi Bao" in the joyful atmosphere of the whole country organizing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), along with the great success of the 11th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee that just ended.

According to the National Assembly Chairman, the organization of the ceremony to receive the certificate of ranking the National Monument of the Memorial Site of Comrade Le Quang Dao, Chairman of the 8th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, an outstanding son of his hometown Bac Ninh, is also a very meaningful activity when preparing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election Day to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026).

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the National Assembly Chairman acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the efforts, attempts, results and achievements of Bac Ninh province.

The Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized that Kinh Bac in the past and Bac Ninh province today are sacred lands with outstanding people, with a long history, culture and revolution. Over thousands of years of history, this place has gathered and passed down a particularly rich treasure of precious and unique cultural heritages, containing both typical cultural values ​​of the Red River Delta and unique, bearing its own mark, especially Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs - Representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

The cultural source from thousands of years has crystallized into the outstanding values ​​of Bac Ninh people who are patriotic, benevolent, united, and martial; industrious, dynamic, and creative in production and trade; intelligent, studious, creative, and especially hospitable, respectful of love and righteousness. Many children of Bac Ninh have become leaders, historical and cultural celebrities, and have made great contributions to the country.

In recent years, Bac Ninh province has always been at the forefront of innovation, economic development, and ensuring social security; it is a locality that has attracted a series of large economic groups in the world for investment and production.

The province's economy has become a bright spot: the total provincial product (GRDP) in 2024 will reach 232.8 trillion VND. The GRDP growth rate will reach 6.03%. Per capita income is estimated at 73 million VND, up 14.8%. The economic structure will shift in a positive direction. State budget revenue will reach more than 33 trillion VND, up 13.9% compared to 2023; of which domestic revenue will reach more than 24 trillion VND, up 10%. Total import-export turnover will reach 75.9 billion USD, up 1%.

In the process of preserving cultural heritage, Bac Ninh is considered a locality that pays much attention to protecting and promoting heritage values, investing funds in research, restoration and renovation; the team of artisans - the "living human treasures" of the locality are cared for and encouraged. Since then, the cultural heritage of Bac Ninh province has been preserved, promoted and spread domestically and internationally.

Promote the development of cultural industry and cultural tourism

The National Assembly Chairman stated that the entire Party, the entire army, the entire people, and the entire political system are making efforts and determined to innovate, bringing the country into a new era, an era of national growth, including innovation and streamlining the political system's apparatus to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently.

As one of the localities merged and expanded administrative boundaries, Bac Ninh will have the conditions to expand its economic scale, increase competitiveness, attract investment and make the most of its development potential, creating more momentum for socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, building a clean and strong political system, improving the material and spiritual life of the people. At the same time, creating new space for promoting the value of the province's cultural heritage.

The National Assembly Chairman requested that Party committees at all levels, authorities, Fatherland Front and people of Bac Ninh province continue to pay attention to the following contents:

Firstly, continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the direction of General Secretary To Lam and the policies and resolutions of the Party and State on socio-economic development; on preserving and developing cultural heritage. Synchronously implement solutions for rapid and sustainable socio-economic development; strive to achieve and exceed the growth target of over 8% and the scenario of over 10%. Research and establish a new growth model based on the foundation of high science and technology, promote digital transformation, and develop high-quality human resources.

Second, continue to effectively implement policies on reorganizing the political system, reorganizing administrative units and organizing two-level local governments in the spirit of the 11th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee.

Third, beloved Uncle Ho advised that "culture lights the way for the nation to go". The Party and the State have issued many policies and guidelines to promote cultural development, most recently the National Assembly has approved the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the period 2025 - 2035. The National Assembly Chairman suggested that Bac Ninh should pay attention to investing, preserving and developing cultural values, focusing on key points to carry out this task well.

Fourth, diverse and rich cultural heritages are one of the important driving forces and resources for Bac Ninh to develop rapidly and sustainably. Bac Ninh needs to strengthen education and dissemination of these valuable heritages with traditional cultural identity so that all people understand the historical value of the nation and join hands to preserve and protect them.

Fifth, Bac Ninh needs to research solutions to "bring cultural heritage closer to the people", so that people can access, participate widely and fully and worthily enjoy the values ​​of cultural heritage, making cultural values ​​always alive and eternal.

At the ceremony, the National Assembly Chairman and delegates enjoyed a special epic art program with the theme "Golden imprints on the homeland of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac".
