Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia Hakob Arshakyan welcomed the high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly led by Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man on an official visit to Armenia; affirming that the visit is an important driving force to bring the relationship between the two countries to a new height.
The Vice President of the Armenian National Assembly happily said that the trade turnover between Armenia and Vietnam has been increasing in recent years. However, the potential and room for cooperation is still very large, which needs to be promoted and exploited strongly on a larger scale in the coming time, especially in the fields of food, education, science and technology, high technology, etc. "Today's discussion is an opportunity for both sides to exchange and discuss measures to develop economic cooperation more substantially and effectively in the coming time", the Vice President of the Armenian National Assembly affirmed.
