The delegation included members of the National Assembly, Chairmen of committees of the Cambodian National Assembly , such as the Committee on Economy, Finance, Banking and Audit; the Committee on Home Affairs, Defense and Civil Service; the Committee on Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, Information and Communications; the Committee on Planning, Investment, Agriculture, Rural Development, Environment and Water Resources; the Committee on Public Health, Social Work, Veterans, Youth, Labor, Vocational Training and Women's Affairs of the National Assembly; the Committee on Civil Service, Transport, Communications, Post, Industry, Mining, Energy, Trade, Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction; along with the Secretary General of the National Assembly; Chief of Office of the President of the National Assembly; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cambodia to Vietnam...Samdech Khuon Sudary was born in 1952, in Battambang province of Cambodia.
She graduated with a BA in Khmer Literature and English from the Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia in 1975; and a BA in Communications from the Budapest Institute of Communications, Hungary in 1980.
From 1979, she was a reporter for the Pracheachon (People) newspaper of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP). She was appointed Deputy Director General in 1984 and Director General of the Prachaechon newspaper in 1987.
During the period 1985-1992, she was a member of the Cambodian Peace Council; during the period 1993-1998, she was an Advisor to the President of the Cambodian National Assembly. In 1997, she was elected a member of the Standing Committee of the CPP Central Committee, and in 1998, a member of the Central Committee of the Cambodian Red Cross Society.
She was a Member of the National Assembly, term II (1998-2003); a Member of the National Assembly, Chairwoman of the Committee on Human Rights, Complaints Reception, Parliamentary Relations, Senate and Inspection of the National Assembly, term III (2003-2007) and term IV (2007-2012).
During the 2013-2014 period, she was the Second Vice President of the 5th National Assembly; during the 2015-2018 period, she was a member of the 5th National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Women's Group. In 2018, she was elected Vice President of the 6th National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Women's Group.
In 2019, she was given the title Kitty Sanghak Bandith by King Norodom Sihamoni.
In 2022, she was elected Chairwoman of the AIPA Women Parliamentarians Group.
On August 22, 2023, the Cambodian National Assembly elected Samdech Khuon Sudary as President of the 7th National Assembly.
