At a meeting and discussion with foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in the area, Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung said that in the first 9 months of 2024, the local economy achieved positive results. GRDP grew by 5.95% over the same period in 2023, helping the provincial economy escape negative growth.
According to Mr. Dung, in order to create the best conditions and the most effective business environment for enterprises, Quang Nam is determined to listen, accompany and take a common path with enterprises, promptly removing difficulties so that enterprises can overcome difficulties and develop.
Specifically, the province is focusing on implementing the new Land Law to remove "bottlenecks" related to project site clearance, real estate business, housing, etc.
At the same time, continue to actively propose to the Government to implement and call for investment in dynamic infrastructure projects such as construction of Chu Lai seaport and airport; dredging Ky Ha port channel; upgrading National Highway 14D - the main route through Nam Giang International Border Gate to seaports in the Central region...

Mr. Steve Wolstenholme - Chairman and General Director of Nam Hoi An Development Company Limited said that the Hoiana project was implemented with a total investment of 4 billion USD, with a total area of nearly 1,000 hectares.
The project is divided into 7 phases, invested in since 2016, and has now completed phase 1. He hopes the province will continue to pay attention and create conditions for the project to be completed according to the original direction.
This enterprise also proposed that Quang Nam province allow adjustment of project implementation time to ensure progress in accordance with the actual situation; further promote administrative procedure reform to help enterprises overcome difficulties.
Mr. Park Chan - General Director of Hyosung Quang Nam Company proposed to speed up the site clearance of Tam Thang Industrial Park expansion and complete the traffic infrastructure. At the same time, he hoped to soon decide on the land rental price for some areas that have completed compensation in Tam Thang Industrial Park expansion so that Hyosung can sign land lease contracts.

The Chairman of Quang Nam also requested that "enterprises please inform me if there is a situation where agencies, departments, or sectors cause difficulties. Minimize the level and have no unofficial investment costs, to create an environment and conditions for businesses to develop well."
