At the meetings, President Vo Van Thuong emphasized that Vietnam is always sincere, open and receptive to listen and accept suggestions from businesses and investors to continuously improve mechanisms and policies, improve the investment and business environment, and hopes that Apple and Boeing corporations will promote investment cooperation in Vietnam.

Currently, the company has a number of products manufactured in Vietnam such as Macbook, Ipad, Apple Watch, attracting thousands of Vietnamese workers.
CEO Tim Cook assessed that Vietnam's digital economy is developing strongly. Many leading electronics and technology companies in the world and the United States have deployed investment, production and business activities in Vietnam in increasing numbers. Vietnam possesses a team of highly qualified engineers and technology staff.
Recommending some issues in development in Vietnam, Mr. Tim Cook said that Vietnam needs to continue improving the system of standards for applying 5G technology.
Along with that is actively perfecting the legal framework to serve the development of the digital economy, especially the factors of ensuring security, safety and privacy of users.
In addition, Vietnam, like many other countries, needs to carefully consider factors in the application and development of artificial intelligence.
President Vo Van Thuong welcomed Apple's proposals and business strategies that value Vietnam's market and production capacity, and said that CEO Tim Cook is widely known to Vietnamese people, especially young people.

Appreciating and thanking Apple for expanding its production and business in Vietnam in recent times, the President said that with Vietnam and the United States having just upgraded their comprehensive strategic partnership, this is a great opportunity for Apple to strongly expand its investment activities in Vietnam, especially in the fields that Vietnam prioritizes to encourage, such as high technology; participating in the development and application of 5G technology in Vietnam.
Vietnam is also continuing to upgrade telecommunications standards; making efforts to perfect the legal framework for the development of the digital economy, digital infrastructure and digital human resource training. The President asked Apple to support Vietnam in this matter.
The President hopes that Apple will promote investment in localities, especially large, dynamically developing provinces and cities in Vietnam.
Receiving Senior Vice President and Global President of Boeing , President Vo Van Thuong highly appreciated Boeing's recent promotion of cooperation with Vietnam in the aviation sector with specific cooperation and said that Vietnamese authorities will always listen to policy consultation and business suggestions to be able to develop Vietnam's aviation industry more strongly in the future.
Expressing his honor to meet President Vo Van Thuong, Boeing Global CEO Brendan Nelson congratulated Vietnam on its important achievements in the process of national construction and development in recent times, bringing benefits to more than 100 million Vietnamese people.

Boeing's global CEO wants to build an aviation ecosystem in Vietnam, focusing on building aviation infrastructure, training human resources, building airports, and aircraft repair and maintenance facilities.
Boeing does not only look at the number of aircraft sold, but also hopes that with its experience, it will contribute to helping Vietnam produce equipment for Boeing, especially supporting Vietnam in training pilots, technicians, flight service staff; building and operating aircraft maintenance centers...

Welcoming Vietnamese aviation businesses to cooperate with Boeing, President Vo Van Thuong suggested that businesses need to prepare financial and management capacity.
Creating an aviation ecosystem in Vietnam is very important and this is an area that Vietnam has a need for, so Vietnam encourages Boeing to participate in this area.
It is said that Vietnam's demand for air travel is increasing and by the end of 2026 Vietnam will inaugurate Long Thanh International Airport, therefore, Boeing needs to consider Vietnam as a large market to invest in developing the aviation ecosystem.
