The gift level of 600,000 VND/person is given to people with revolutionary contributions, including: Vietnamese Heroic Mothers who are receiving monthly preferential allowances and individuals who have been awarded the title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother before July 28, 2024 but have not completed the procedures to receive monthly preferential allowances.

In addition, this gift is also given to war invalids, beneficiaries of policies such as war invalids, category B war invalids, sick soldiers with a body injury rate of 81% or more who are receiving monthly preferential allowances; resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals with a body injury rate of 81% or more who are receiving monthly preferential allowances; relatives of martyrs who are receiving monthly care allowances; relatives of two or more martyrs who are receiving monthly allowances.

Gift level of 300,000 VND/person for people with revolutionary contributions including: war invalids, people enjoying policies like war invalids, war invalids of type B, sick soldiers with a body injury rate of 80% or less who are receiving monthly preferential allowances; war invalids who are enjoying the labor loss regime.

This gift is also given to resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals with a body injury rate of 80% or less who are receiving monthly preferential allowances; representatives of martyrs' relatives; and people who worship martyrs (in case the martyrs have no relatives).

The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs said that the total budget for giving gifts to meritorious people on this occasion is nearly 420 billion VND for more than 1.3 million meritorious people nationwide.

Every year, according to the Prime Minister's report, the President gives gifts to people with revolutionary contributions on War Invalids and Martyrs Day.
