NDO - On the afternoon of November 20, at the Presidential Palace, President Luong Cuong received Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan, who is on a working visit to Vietnam at the invitation of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man from November 17-23.

This is the first visit to Vietnam by the head of the Armenian legislature after more than 30 years of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries, demonstrating that Armenia attaches importance to the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Vietnam in all fields.

The visit aims to further promote relations between the two countries' legislatures, develop parliamentary cooperation more effectively, and create momentum to expand substantive cooperation between Vietnam and Armenia.
