President sends birthday gifts to 448 people turning 100 years old in Quang Nam

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan has just signed a document directing the Department of Health and the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to develop a plan to organize the giving of longevity greeting cards and gifts to 448 citizens who are 100 years old and residing in the area.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province assigned the Department of Health to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, agencies and units to develop a plan and program to organize the presentation of longevity greeting cards and gifts from the President to 100-year-old citizens in the province.

The gift-giving should be done solemnly and thoughtfully, clearly demonstrating the spirit of “respecting the elderly and wishing them longevity”, while affirming the care of the Party, State and local authorities for the elderly. It is expected that provincial leaders will directly visit and wish longevity to some of the elderly on this occasion.

Quang Nam has 448 people turning 100 years old in 2025.

The gift giving and longevity greeting cards are expected to be completed before June 6, 2025, contributing to spreading the message of morality "when drinking water, remember its source" and "respecting the elderly and loving the young" in community life.

Previously, implementing the President's opinion, the Office of the President sent to the People's Committee of Quang Nam province a birthday greeting card and gifts from the President to 448 citizens who are 100 years old (born in 1925) in Quang Nam province.

The list of citizens receiving longevity gifts spans many localities such as Dien Ban town 72, Dai Loc 70, Thang Binh 57, Que Son 50, Duy Xuyen 49, Nui Thanh 43, Hoi An 26, Phu Ninh 25, Tien Phuoc 21, Tam Ky 16, Hiep Duc 10, Bac Tra My 4, Dong Giang 2, Nam Giang 1, Phuoc Son 1, Quang Nam Social Protection Center 1.
