President agrees to amend the Agreement on funding projects to support development in border areas

Loan Agreement No. 3499-VIE (SF) is an agreement between Vietnam and ADB signed on May 4, 2017 with a loan value of 76.84 million SDR for the provinces of Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Binh Phuoc , Dak Nong, Dak Lak, which has been approved by competent authorities to adjust the investment policy.

Accordingly, the disbursement deadline is extended so that the provinces can continue to use preferential ADB loans and complete the Project.

The project aims to improve transport connectivity in the five project provinces to promote trade, agribusiness and other potentials, towards a region of rapid and sustainable economic growth.
