Chairman of the City People's Council Ngo Xuan Thang attended the national festival celebrating the 50th anniversary of liberation at Residential Area No. 14, Hoa Hai Ward.

City leaders presented flowers to congratulate the National Festival celebrating the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation at Residential Area No. 14, Hoa Hai Ward.

Speaking at the festival, Chairman of the City People's Council Ngo Xuan Thang expressed his pride in the strong development of Da Nang , a city known by many titles such as "City of 4 Safe", "City of Bridges" and "City Worth Living".

The city always respects and remembers the contributions of previous generations in the struggle for national liberation, and at the same time acknowledges the great contributions of the ward's cadres and people in the construction of the city today.

Sharing about the development target for 2025, the city set an economic growth target of 10% or more and promoted the implementation of key projects such as attracting investment in Lien Chieu port, building a free trade zone, thereby creating a foundation for Da Nang to enter a new development phase.

Along with that, Chairman Ngo Xuan Thang called on Residential Area No. 14 to continue promoting good traditions, responding to patriotic emulation movements, joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses and improve people's quality of life.

Mr. Nguyen Cu, Secretary of the Party Cell of Residential Area No. 14, said that the residential area currently has 28 families of martyrs, 2 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, 6 wounded soldiers and 49 families with meritorious services to the revolution. The contributions of the policy families have helped Hoa Hai Ward to be awarded the title of "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" twice in the periods of 1985-1969 and 1969-1975.

Currently, 90% of households in the residential area have built solid houses, over 98% of households have achieved the title of cultural family, and all 3 residential groups have achieved the title of cultural residential group.

Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Hai ward presented 10 gifts to poor, near-poor and suddenly difficult households.

Representing residential group 53, Mr. Binh Ba Tai was moved to express his deep gratitude to the previous generations who sacrificed and devoted themselves to a beautiful and peaceful homeland. He emphasized that every citizen, regardless of their position, can contribute to the development of their homeland with their intelligence and enthusiasm, continuing the great contributions of their ancestors.

In order to increase the vibrant and cozy atmosphere in the residential area, within the framework of the festival, many meaningful activities took place such as: traditional sports competitions, cultural and artistic exchanges and "Solidarity Meal".

The national festival celebrating the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation not only strengthens the relationship between villagers and neighbors, but is also an opportunity for people to review the heroic tradition, continue to unite and join hands to build residential areas as well as the city to develop more and more sustainably.
