On December 8, in Hanoi, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee held a friendly meeting with the delegation of Tan Trao Tuyen Quang Club visiting the office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee.
Attending the reception were Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the Party Delegation, Vice President - General Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee; Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy, Party Delegation member, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee.
On the side of the delegation of Tan Trao Tuyen Quang Club, there were Mr. Nguyen Sang Vang, former Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoan, former Standing Deputy Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Tan Trao Tuyen Quang Club and members of Tan Trao Club.
Reporting on the results of recent activities, Club Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoan said that after 20 years of establishment, Tan Trao Tuyen Quang Club has constantly strived, promoted the spirit of solidarity and responsibility to effectively carry out the tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee.
The Club has done a good job in building its apparatus and developing its membership, both in quantity and quality; regularly paying attention to the dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to its members, constantly raising revolutionary vigilance, maintaining the members' trust in the Party and the State; actively participating in contributing opinions to the Party Committees, authorities, and the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; regularly paying attention to improving the material and spiritual life of its members; contributing to the successful implementation of the local socio-economic development goals, building Tuyen Quang province to become increasingly rich, beautiful, and civilized.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Do Van Chien expressed his joy and emotion to welcome the delegation of Tan Trao Club from the homeland of the resistance capital to visit the capital Hanoi and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - the common home of the great national unity bloc.
On behalf of the Party Delegation and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Chairman Do Van Chien expressed his sincere and deep gratitude to the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province for always being united in following the revolution, following the Party, and protecting the revolution during the years of resistance; at the same time, he expressed his gratitude for the wholehearted and sincere support and help of the former key leaders of Tuyen Quang province during their time working in the locality.
Informing the delegation about the results of the Front's work, Chairman Do Van Chien affirmed that, with the spirit of innovation, the Front's work has left many outstanding marks in the past term. On the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2023), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee chaired and coordinated with the Central Propaganda Department and the Truth National Political Publishing House to publish the book "Promoting the tradition of great national unity, building our country to be increasingly rich, civilized and happy" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. The book thereby consistently and thoroughly demonstrates the Party's policy on the tradition and strength of great national unity in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the historic Dien Bien Phu victory, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee has launched a project to mobilize the construction of Great Solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province. After only 9 months since its launch, with the cooperation of the entire political system, the project has completed 5,000 houses for poor households in Dien Bien province; supported the construction of 500 Great Solidarity houses for poor households in the Northwest region.
Following that result, the Central Emulation and Reward Council coordinated with the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee to organize the Launching Ceremony of the Emulation Movement for the whole country to join hands to "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", striving to complete 370,000 houses for the poor and disadvantaged people nationwide by the end of 2025.
Chairman Do Van Chien also shared that during the past term, activities to support the poor and those in difficult circumstances have had profound changes. In the face of the severe damage caused by storm No. 3 (Yagi), the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front organized a launching ceremony to support compatriots affected by storm No. 3.
After the end of the campaign, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee's receiving account received over VND2,000 billion. For the first time, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee promptly directed the "statement", publicizing and making transparent the sources of support and timely allocating them to affected localities, thereby raising the trust of society in the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Providing information on the major contents that the Party and State are currently directing to implement, Chairman Do Van Chien said that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is determined to carry out the revolution of streamlining the organizational apparatus, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of operations in the spirit of Resolution 18-NQ-TW; continuing to promote the fight against corruption, waste and negativity with many new messages such as preventing corruption and waste and negativity to serve the task of socio-economic development of the country and localities; preventing and combating corruption and negativity must be deployed from the grassroots party and party cells...
On behalf of the Party Delegation and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Chairman Do Van Chien hopes to receive contributions and support from the Tan Trao Tuyen Quang Club for the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, for the great national unity bloc; at the same time, he believes that with their feelings and responsibilities, the Club members will continue to contribute their dedicated opinions to the Party Committees and authorities at all levels in leadership, direction and operation; mobilize families and people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws and socio-economic development programs, contributing more to the development of Tuyen Quang province.
The Club's Board of Directors continues to pay attention and organize many practical and meaningful activities to further strengthen the connection between members and the Club, building an increasingly strong organization.
