Thanking the Komeito Party for its important contributions as the ruling coalition party in Japan to strengthening and developing the Vietnam-Japan friendly and cooperative relationship in recent times, Mr. Nguyen Van Nen asked Mr. Yamaguchi Natsuo to continue to pay attention to and promote the extensive strategic partnership between the two countries in the coming time.
Ho Chi Minh City always pays attention to developing cooperative relations with Japanese partners in the fields of trade, investment, culture, people-to-people exchange and especially cooperation in training human resources and highly skilled young workers.

Affirming the desire to further strengthen cooperative relations with Japanese localities and partners, the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee requested the Chairman of the Komeito Party to pay attention to supporting Japanese enterprises and investors to promote investment and long-term business in the city; promote tourism activities, cultural exchanges and people-to-people diplomacy to bring bilateral relations commensurate with potential and desire, contributing to the development of Vietnam - Japan relations, in depth and effectiveness.
Mr. Yamaguchi Natsuo said this was his second time returning to Ho Chi Minh City and he realized that the city had developed a lot.
According to Mr. Yamaguchi Natsuo, Ho Chi Minh City is the economic locomotive of Vietnam and many Japanese enterprises are investing here.
He hopes to receive attention from the city government to help Japanese businesses operating in Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Yamaguchi Natsuo said that as a partner of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) in the ruling coalition, the Komeito Party supports activities to promote Japan-Vietnam relations, especially in the fields of supporting infrastructure construction and training to improve the quality of human resources for the coast guard force.
Besides promoting political, economic and trade relations, it is necessary to further promote cultural exchanges and people-to-people diplomacy because cultural exchanges are the foundation for the development of relations between the two countries.
The Komeito Party leader said that currently, in Japan there are hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese students, university students, and workers, of which about 170,000 are interns and about 80,000 are highly skilled workers.
According to Mr. Yamaguchi Natsuo, Japan has a program that allows highly skilled workers to extend their working time in the country, and even bring their families with them. Japan also creates favorable conditions for Vietnamese trainees and workers to work with peace of mind and contribute to the economy after returning home.
