Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Slovakian National Assembly received Ambassador Pham Truong Giang

Ambassador Pham Truong Giang highly appreciated the role of Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Marian Kery in the process of Slovakia recognizing the Vietnamese community in Slovakia as the 14th ethnic minority.

On April 23, at the headquarters of the Slovak National Assembly, Ambassador Pham Truong Giang met with Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Marian Kery.

Ambassador Pham Truong Giang thanked Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Marian Kery for her positive contributions to promoting relations between the two countries, always showing affection for Vietnam in general and for the Vietnamese community in Slovakia in particular.

Appreciating the important role of Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Marian Kery in the process of Slovakia recognizing the Vietnamese community in Slovakia as the 14th ethnic minority and promoting relations between the two National Assemblies in recent times, Ambassador Pham Truong Giang expressed his belief that in the coming time, the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Slovakia will continue to be consolidated and developed through the exchange of delegations at all levels, expanding cultural exchanges,education - training, labor, tourism, etc.

Welcoming Ambassador Pham Truong Giang, Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Marian Kery affirmed that she will continue to actively contribute to enhancing mutual understanding between the National Assembly and the people of the two countries, and assessed the Vietnamese community in Slovakia as a hard-working, dynamic community that has successfully integrated into the host society.

Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Marian Kery said that Slovakian universities are always open and hopes that there will be more scholarships for Vietnamese students to study and return to contribute to the construction and development of Vietnam like some students who went to study and research in Czechoslovakia before.
