Owner of license plate 51K-888.88 won auction for 32.34 billion VND but has not paid yet

According to information from Vietnam Auction Joint Stock Company, as of the afternoon of September 20, 3 customers who won the auction of super beautiful car license plates in the auction on September 15 have paid the full amount as prescribed.

Specifically, the 3 license plates that have been fully paid by the auction winners are: License plate 99A-666.66 of Bac Ninh province (winning bid price is 4.27 billion VND); license plate 43A-799.99 of Da Nang province (winning bid price is 1.16 billion VND) and finally license plate 15K-188.88 of Hai Phong province (winning bid price is 650 million VND).

Thus, there are still 8 license plates including: 51K-888.88; 31K-555.55; 30K-567.89; 36A-999.99; 98A-666.66; 19K-555.55; 65A-399.99; 47A-599.99 for which the auction winner has not yet fulfilled his financial obligations.

According to the auction regulations, the winner must pay the entire amount into the specialized collection account number 1410123456789 of the Ministry of Public Security opened at Agribank My Dinh branch, after deducting the 40 million VND deposit.

Immediately after receiving the full amount of the auction, the Ministry of Public Security will issue an electronic invoice for the sale of public assets and an electronic document confirming the license plate number of the auctioned car sent to the auction winner's email address to complete the vehicle registration procedure.

Previously, on September 15, an auction was held for 11 super beautiful license plates with a total winning bid of more than 82.3 billion VND.

Specifically, from high to low, the winning license plates are 51K-888.88 (32.34 billion VND), 31K-555.55 (14.1 billion VND), 30K-567.89 (13 billion VND), 36A-999.99 (7.4 billion VND), 99A-666.66 (4.2 billion VND), 98A-666.66 (3 billion VND), 19K-555.55 (2.6 billion VND), 65A-399.99 (2.1 billion VND), 47A-599.99 (1.3 billion VND), 43A-799.99 (1.1 billion VND), 15K-188.88 (650 million VND).

Cases of auction results cancellation
In Article 19 of Resolution 73/2022 of the National Assembly on pilot auction of automobile license plates, the auction results are canceled in the cases specified in the Law on Property Auction.
In addition, the auction winner who does not confirm the auction minutes is considered to not accept the contract for the sale of the auctioned property.
The announcement of auction results and the document confirming the license plate number of the auctioned car will be canceled in the following cases:
- The auction winner does not pay the full auction price within the specified time limit.
- The auction winner does not complete the procedure to register the license plate of the auctioned car according to the provisions of Resolution No. 73/2022.
- The auction winner violated the honesty of the auction registration documents.
