Chapter I “Theoretical basis of modern capitalism and the role of modern capitalism in the world development process” presents the approach of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought and the theoretical perception of the Communist Party of Vietnam when studying capitalism and its role in the world development process; studies new theoretical aspects related to the recent development of capitalism, especially in the first decades of the 21st century.
Chapter II "The development status of modern capitalism since 1945, especially from 2000 to present" assesses the development status of capitalism in the fields of: Economy; politics; society; education - training, science - technology, ecological environment...
Chapter III “The role of modern capitalism in the world development process since 1945, especially since 2000” assesses the role of capitalism in the world development process in four main areas: Economy; politics; society; education - training, science - technology, environment and other areas.
Chapter IV “Proposed viewpoints and policy orientations for Vietnam” addresses the main factors affecting the development trend of capitalism until 2030, forecasts the development trend of capitalism until 2045; its role and impact on the world development process. This chapter also proposes viewpoints and policy orientations for Vietnam in the perception of modern capitalism and its role in the world development process, especially from 2000 to present; at the same time, it proposes strategies to maximize positive impacts and minimize negative impacts, in order to realize Vietnam's development goals in the coming period.
In particular, the book pays great attention to analyzing the impact of capitalism on Vietnam, thereby proposing important policy directions for the country to take advantage of opportunities and cope with challenges in the new context.
