The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has confirmed that the match between Vietnam and Syria will be held at Thien Truong Stadium, Nam Dinh on June 20. Before that, the notable match between Vietnam and Hong Kong (China) will take place at Lach Tray Stadium, Hai Phong on June 15.
On the afternoon of May 29, VFF had a meeting with the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VH-TT-DL) of Nam Dinh province about the plan to organize a friendly match between the Vietnam team and the Syria team at Thien Truong Stadium. This is the first time that the official friendly matches of the Vietnam team have been held in Nam Dinh.
