Seeing his wife struggling with illness every day, heartbroken that her hands had to be operated on multiple times to create blood vessels during regular dialysis, to the point of complete damage to the blood vessels in her left hand, Mr. T. (born in 1978, Ms. G.'s husband) decided to donate a kidney to his wife, with the wish to share some of the pain of her illness with her.
