(Dan Tri) - As soon as the car stopped in front of the house, Mr. Quy saw his three daughters running out, happily cheering to welcome their father home for Tet.
Hearing the sound of a car stopping in front of their house late on January 12, the three daughters were overjoyed, shouting "Daddy" as they rushed out to greet Nguyen Van Quy (29 years old, from Thanh Hoa). A moment later, H'Hâng Nie (28 years old) ran out of the house to open the door to welcome her husband.
"We happily hugged each other on our reunion day," the wife choked up. The three children kept asking Mr. Quy to hold them, expressing their love: "Daddy, I miss you so much."
Mr. Quy works in the South and only comes home once every 2-3 months. This time, he arranged to come home early to celebrate Tet with his wife and children.
The day before he returned, he called his wife and said he expected to be home around 10pm. In fact, he returned an hour later, and his three daughters (ages 3, 5 and 7) were still up late waiting for him.

When they heard the car, the three girls ran from bed to the gate, happily cheering when they saw their father coming home. Mr. Quy hugged each daughter in turn and gave them toys. That night, the three sisters fought over where to sleep because they all wanted to lie next to their father, whispering: "Dad, don't go away anymore", "If you go away, I won't love you anymore", "Dad, come back home and stay with me".
"Listening to the children's confidences, I felt very sorry and encouraged the three sisters that their father would come back to visit them often after he went to work," said Mr. Quy.
Posting a video of her husband coming home for Tet on her personal page, Ms. H'Hâng Nie unexpectedly received many likes and shares on many social networking forums. Relatives and acquaintances continuously called to ask about the family.
"My two kids are the same. Whenever they hear the sound of a car outside the gate, no matter what they are doing, they drop everything and run out to greet their dad. When they hear their children's voices, all the difficulties in life disappear," wrote Manh Quang.
"The happiest thing in life is just coming home to a wife and children waiting for you. Family is always number one, the dream of many people," user Dang Ngoc confided.

Ms. H'Hăng Nie is an Ede ethnic, from Dak Lak, married Mr. Quý in 2017 and moved to Thanh Hoa to live.
She said she rarely expressed her feelings or said loving words to her parents, so she taught her children to get used to that. She told her three daughters that every time they called their father, they would say "miss you" and "love you".
"I am really happy because my children can say words of longing and express their love for their father. I want to strengthen family ties, fearing that when they grow up, they will be distant from their parents. If they are close, they can confide in their father or mother about anything," the mother confided.
As a daughter-in-law far from home, Ms. H'Hâng Nie said that her economic conditions are not good so she cannot bring her family back to Dak Lak for Tet this year. She plans to return to her mother's hometown with her children during the summer vacation.
As Tet approaches, Mr. Quy's family has already decorated their house, waiting for the new year to knock on the door. "I am very happy, seeing my wife and children makes me feel less tired, proud of the 3 "plum wine bottles"", he said.
