Eat right and be happy
MSc. Le Quoc Thinh, lecturer of pharmacy at Thanh Do University, said that everyone knows that eating and drinking not only determines survival but also has a great impact on health, stature, temperament, emotions and spirit of people. Eating and drinking improperly can sometimes cause illness.
To "live long", the problem is that we should know the method of eating according to the health-preserving method, that is, choosing food and eating methods suitable for health, age, and illness to achieve the goal of preventing and treating diseases, ensuring health, living long, and living a useful life.
Doctors have proposed a very simple and reasonable diet that anyone can do.
- Eat on time and happily : Master Thinh analyzed that family meals are of special importance. Meals must take place in an exciting, quiet, cozy, and happy atmosphere to help food be digested well and absorbed more easily.
Respect meal times and distribute food appropriately for each meal. For Vietnamese people: Breakfast is the main meal (6-7am) accounting for 30% of the daily diet; Lunch (11-12pm) 25% and afternoon (5-7pm) 25%.
Some families often take breakfast lightly, eat just to get it over with, or even skip breakfast. This is a mistake that should be avoided. In fact, breakfast provides energy for the most important life activities because the time from 8-10 am is the most effective working time.
- Do not eat more than needed: Food must be diverse, including both animal and plant foods. For Vietnamese people, food choices depend on each person's preferences, as long as it is reasonable.
The menu should be changed regularly to balance the five flavors, and to have enough nutrients and trace elements. Food should not exceed the body's needs. You should eat slowly and moderately, only eat when hungry and never eat too much.

Eat desserts wisely for good health
Desserts are light dishes to end each main meal with small portions of sweets such as cakes, jellies, sweet soups, fruits or maybe drinks....
Studies have shown that desserts often have a sweet or refreshing taste that helps trigger the release of endorphins - a substance that creates a pleasant feeling in the brain hemisphere. Therefore, not only after meals but whenever people are stressed or pressured, desserts can make us feel comfortable and happy.
- Eating bananas in the morning is good for the nerves, healthy bones and joints, and good for the heart: If you are still a bit hungry in the morning after eating, have a ripe banana for dessert. In addition, ripe bananas also contain trace elements and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C - organic acids and enzymes that are good for the body.

Pineapple has the ability to quench thirst, produce body fluids and aid digestion thanks to bromelain, a strong protein-hydrolyzing enzyme that can digest meat and fish.
The effects of bromelain are similar to those of papain and pepsin. In addition to its digestive properties, bromelain also helps reduce inflammation, swelling, and bruises.
