Selecting a contractor to build a nearly 1,000 billion VND belt connecting National Highway 1 through Dong Nai

Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has just approved the additional plan to select a contractor for the Long Khanh City Ring Road 1 (Dong Nai).

Currently, many inner-city roads in Long Khanh city are also overloaded during rush hour.

Accordingly, in the fourth quarter of 2024, contractors will be selected for four packages of the beltway. Including package No. 10 - construction of intersection No. 1 (from the beginning of the route to Km0+200) and intersection No. 3 (Km4+150 to the end of the route), ensuring traffic safety.

Package No. 11 - construction of the section from Km0+200.00 to Km0+787.50 and Package No. 12 - construction of intersection No. 2 (Km0+787.5 to Km1+612.5) and railway bridge, railway communication signals, compensation for train delays, damage caused by blockade during construction, and traffic safety work.

Finally, package 13 - construction of the section from Km1+612.50 to Km4+150.00 and traffic safety work. Package 14 - construction of the lighting system will have a contractor selected in the first quarter of 2025.

The Long Khanh City Ring Road 1 project is approximately 4.4km long. The starting point of the route intersects with National Highway 1 at Km1823+870 right at Suoi Tre gas station (Long Khanh City). The end point of the route also intersects with National Highway 1 at Km1818+600.

The total investment capital of the project is nearly 940 billion VND, of which the central budget capital is nearly 586 billion VND, the rest is the provincial budget capital.

For this project, last August, relevant units approved the adjustment of the general planning of Long Khanh city to synchronize the planning during the project implementation process.

Regarding capital disbursement, nearly VND 208 billion has been disbursed out of a total of VND 229 billion of provincial budget capital allocated for the project in 2024, reaching nearly 91%. At the same time, an additional VND 50 billion of central budget capital allocated for the project in 2024 has been disbursed, reaching 100% of the plan.

Previously, at the working session with relevant units, Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, also requested Long Khanh City People's Committee and relevant units to speed up the implementation progress, especially the site to implement the project in 2024.
