Notably, this tournament will feature the strongest kickboxing athletes in the country, including many SEA Games champions.
These include Huynh Van Tuan (Ho Chi Minh City), a two-time SEA Games champion in 2019 and 2022; Nguyen Quang Huy ( Hanoi ) – SEA Games 31 champion; Trieu Thi Phuong Thuy (Hanoi) – SEA Games 32 champion; and Nguyen Hoang (Dak Lak) – SEA Games 32 champion.

Besides the fierce competition among top stars, the tournament will feature exciting competition from young athletes – considered the new hopes of Vietnamese kickboxing. Young stars like 17-year-old Hoang Dinh Manh (Hanoi), who recently won the national club kickboxing championship in Vung Tau last March, promise to deliver captivating matches.

This year's tournament features over 300 athletes from 40 provinces/cities nationwide, and is considered a valuable opportunity for national team scouts to assess the team's strength and recruit the best athletes for the national kickboxing team in preparation for the Asian Kickboxing Championships to be held in Cambodia in October.
Despite demonstrating superior strength, the Hanoi kickboxing team will undoubtedly face some competition in defending their top position overall.
Meanwhile, the Ho Chi Minh City team has also prepared and is ready to aim for 2-3 gold medals at the tournament. Teams with developing kickboxing movements in recent years, such as the Tay Ninh team, are also ready to compete in the tournament, creating exciting competition.
The tournament is also organized to develop the kickboxing movement nationwide. At the same time, it aims to test and evaluate the competence and professional level of referees, administrators, and staff involved in organizing domestic competitions. Athletes will compete in weight categories within the Lowkick and Fullcontact disciplines.
