Binh Thuan Street Culture Week 2023 will be a highlight in the journey of the National Tourism Year "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence". A series of activities will officially take place promisingly "jubilantly" from August 27 to September 3 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, the stage of Binh Thuan Provincial Cultural Center and the famous Mui Ne sand dunes.
Accordingly, the Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition and Cultural Week will be broadcast live on Binh Thuan and national television channels, with many activities such as street festivals, cultural and artistic exchanges, tourism product displays, exhibitions on the theme: Cultural heritage of Vietnam's seas and islands, and street music to serve the entertainment needs of tourists.
The street festival will be the most anticipated part, when all the Cau Ngu, Nghinh Ong, Ka Te, Dinh Thay Thim festivals will be recreated and paraded for the people and tourists to enjoy. According to the disclosure of the provincial cultural center, the street festival will go through routes such as Nguyen Tat Thanh - Le Duan, Nguyen Hoi and vice versa. Along with that, there will be cultural and artistic exchange programs "Sea, islands of the heart of Vietnam", a space to display tourism products, and a music night that promises to explode at the Flying Sand Hill "Rock Fest"...
In fact, tourism activities in the province in the first 7 months of 2023 have been going smoothly. Taking advantage of the opportunities from the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay and Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressways being inaugurated and put into operation, tourism projects continue to be invested in and upgraded; promoting and developing tourism associated with the deployment of digital technology, smart tourism systems to serve tourism promotion, ensuring convenience, attractiveness, attracting a large number of visitors from the provinces to visit and relax.
A positive sign is that new tours and routes are being formed and strongly developed, attracting a large number of visitors such as: Phu Quy Island tourist route, Provincial Party Committee base relic site during the resistance war against the US... According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first 7 months of 2023, the whole province is estimated to welcome 5,304,954 visitors, an increase of 82% over the same period last year, reaching 79% of the annual plan; revenue from tourism activities is 13,448 billion VND, an increase of 2.1 times over the same period last year, reaching 85% of the annual plan.
The careful preparation for "Binh Thuan Street Culture Week 2023" is also an occasion that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, localities, Management Boards of tourist areas and destinations, and tourism businesses in the province hope to bring visitors sweet and interesting experiences when coming to the salty land of the ocean.
