Candidates taking the first round of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exam this year

This morning (April 16), Ho Chi Minh City National University officially announced the first round of the 2025 capacity assessment test scores. From 9:00 a.m. this morning, candidates can look up the results at: https://thinangluc.vnuhcm.edu.vn/dgnl/. To see the scores, candidates log in to their personal accounts and go to the test results lookup section.
This year, Ho Chi Minh City National University will not send paper copies of exam result certificates to candidates as in previous years. Instead, candidates will be issued electronic certificates. From April 21, candidates can proactively access the Ho Chi Minh City National University Competency Assessment Test Portal at: http://thinangluc.vnuhcm.edu.vn to look up and download electronic certificates.
The Ho Chi Minh City National University Competency Assessment Council has also announced the review of the exam. Accordingly, the time to submit the review application is from today until April 18. Candidates submit the review application directly at the Center for Testing and Training Quality Assessment or submit a scanned copy of the review application and an image of the receipt for payment of the review fee online via email: [email protected]. The time to announce the review results is April 25.
The second round of the competency assessment exam will be held by Ho Chi Minh City National University on June 1 in 11 localities: Hue, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tien Giang, An Giang. Candidates will register for the second round from April 17 to May 7.
Previously, on the evening of April 14, the Ho Chi Minh City National University Competency Assessment Council announced the score distribution of the first round of this year's competency assessment exam. Out of a total of 126,297 exams in the first round, the average score of candidates was 618.4 points, 142 candidates scored over 1,000 points. The candidate with the highest score of the exam was 1,060 points and the candidate with the lowest score was 40 points. Compared to the score distribution of the first round of 2024, this score distribution can be seen to be lower. In the first round last year, out of 93,828 exams scored, the average score of candidates was 643.4 points - higher than this year. Last year's highest score was also higher than this year's, at 1,076, and the candidate with the lowest score was also 203. However, compared to last year, this year the number of candidates scoring over 1,000 points is higher (last year only 80 candidates scored over 1,000 points).
