Thanks to these efforts, the rate of households using clean water in Nghia Lo town and some neighboring localities has increased continuously over the years. In addition, the Company has proactively produced and consumed millions of liters of pure drinking water, gradually diversifying products and expanding consumption markets. In addition to focusing on technical infrastructure, the Company has also actively implemented digital transformation solutions in production and business activities.

Mr. Phan Van Thang - Director of Nghia Lo Water Supply Joint Stock Company said: "In 2024, we produced and consumed more than 2.4 million m3 of clean water for daily life, achieving revenue of 21 billion VND, equivalent to 105% of the annual plan. Stable and effective production and business activities helped the Company pay nearly 1.8 billion VND to the State budget, earning more than 2 billion VND in profit. We always ensure full social insurance regimes for employees, creating stable jobs for workers with an average income of about 8 million VND/person/month".

In 2025, the Company determines to promote production and business activities associated with investment in increasing capacity, replacing old pipes and meters to prevent water loss, and increasing product recovery rate. At the same time, the Company aims to expand the customer base using clean water, improve the quality of services provided, and aim for sustainable development. With clear orientations, the Company strives to achieve a total revenue of over 30 billion VND in 2025, contributing about 2.5 billion VND to the State budget; continuing to affirm its role as a key unit in providing clean water to serve local socio -economic development.

Chien Thang Garment One Member Co., Ltd. - Nghia Lo is the only enterprise in the area operating in the garment sector. Currently, the Company has completed a 5,000m2 factory with 14 modern industrial sewing lines, products are exported to Europe and Russia. Along with that, the Company also creates stable jobs for hundreds of local workers, mainly children of Thai ethnic people in the town and districts in the Western region with an average income of 7 - 8 million VND/person/month.

In addition to the two typical enterprises mentioned above, the Western Registration Center has also emerged as one of the large-scale and effective units in the town in recent years. In 2024 alone, the Center conducted registration for more than 4,800 road motor vehicles. Of these, 4,300 vehicles met technical requirements and were licensed for circulation.

Through detailed analysis of technical errors, it can be seen that: 11% of vehicles failed due to errors in the body and seats; 2% due to the transmission system; 30% due to the braking system; 36% due to the steering system and 25% due to the suspension system. With a high sense of responsibility, the Center has resolutely refused to issue inspection licenses for vehicles that do not ensure technical safety, making a practical contribution to ensuring traffic safety and order in the town. Not only stopping at professional work, through inspection activities, the Center has also fulfilled its financial obligations to the State by collecting and paying into the budget 12.9 billion VND from road use fees, contributing positively to the general revenue of the locality.

In addition, some enterprises such as Duy Quang Private Enterprise, Nam Dong IV Hydropower Joint Stock Company, Road Construction Joint Stock Company 1, Quang Thinh Construction Joint Stock Company, Cam Huong Company Limited, Cuong Thinh Company Limited... have invested in machinery, production lines and expanded wholesale and retail systems to improve service quality, increase profits and contribute positively to the State budget.

The town has also actively implemented many practical policies to support small and medium enterprises, encourage the development of cooperative economic models; focus on guiding and creating favorable conditions for enterprises to access new markets; proactively research, propose and implement investment projects suitable to local potential. Thanks to the policy of rolling out the red carpet to attract investment, the town's business environment has become increasingly attractive, creating confidence and excitement for investors. As a result, in 2024, the town established 15 new enterprises, 7 cooperatives and 32 cooperative groups.

These economic models not only quickly came into stable operation but also actively contributed to solving local employment and contributing to the State budget. Thanks to that, Nghia Lo's total budget revenue in 2024 reached over 226 billion VND - an impressive figure in the context of many localities still facing difficulties.

In particular, Nghia Lo is the only locality in the province to complete all three budget revenue targets: balanced revenue, land use fee revenue and revenue targets according to Action Program No. 188 of the Provincial Party Committee. This achievement is a clear demonstration of the dynamism in leadership, direction and administration as well as the strong resilience of the town's economic development.

Projects calling for investment in 2025 such as: waste treatment area in Phu Nham commune, commercial and service area in Nghia Loi commune, driving training and testing facilities in Pu Trang ward and Nghia Lo commune are not only strategic projects in socio-economic development but also open up many opportunities for businesses to participate in investment and expand production and business activities.

Through that, the town hopes to gradually complete the infrastructure system, create jobs for workers, contribute to improving people's lives and strive to complete the budget revenue target of 250 billion VND in 2025, in order to successfully implement the targets and tasks according to the Resolution of the 19th Yen Bai Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 14th Town Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, creating an important step forward on the journey of comprehensive and sustainable development.
