The government has approved a policy for officials who have quit their jobs due to streamlining the apparatus.

(Dan Tri) - The Government has just passed three decrees on policies to attract and employ talented people; policies for officials who quit their jobs, and policies for officials and civil servants affected by streamlining the apparatus.

On the afternoon of December 31, the Ministry of Home Affairs held a press conference to announce and provide information about three decrees that had just been approved by the Government during the day.

Specifically, Decree No. 179/2024 dated December 31 stipulates policies to attract and promote talented people to work in agencies, organizations, and units of the Communist Party of Vietnam , the State, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations. Decree No. 177/2024 stipulates policies and regimes for cases of non-re-election, re-appointment, and officials who resign or retire at will; Decree No. 178/2024 of the Government on policies and regimes for officials, civil servants, public employees, workers, and armed forces in the implementation of organizational restructuring of the political system. Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Truong Hai Long and Chief of Office and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs Vu Dang Minh chaired the press conference.

According to Mr. Truong Hai Long, in the past time, the Ministry of Home Affairs has deployed a series of decrees in accordance with the direction of the Politburo . "Today, the policies have been approved and issued by the Government. The Ministry of Home Affairs has completed the assigned tasks," said Deputy Minister Truong Hai Long. (Continued to update)
