The aid will be provided in the form of emergency supplies, cash assistance and vital services such as healthcare, clean water and sanitation to those affected.

On September 14, according to information from the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Vietnam, the British Government will support 1 million pounds (equivalent to 32 billion VND) to help Vietnam overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 (Yagi).
The aid will be provided in the form of emergency supplies, cash assistance and vital services such as healthcare, clean water and sanitation to those affected.
Storm No. 3 is the strongest storm to hit the East Sea in the past 30 years and has caused widespread damage to people and property in many provinces and cities in northern Vietnam.
This humanitarian assistance will support the initial phase of response, including relief and reconstruction operations through humanitarian partners.
Anneliese Dodds, Minister of State for Development, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, said: “The UK Government stands with the people affected by the devastating impact of Typhoon Yagi in Vietnam.
We have worked closely with the Vietnamese government and humanitarian partners to identify localities in need of support to bring about the most positive and effective impact.”./.
