On April 15, the Vietnam Film Institute announced that the Vietnamese Film Days program will be held from April 21 to 26, with screenings at 9am every day.

Specifically, from April 21 to 24, audiences will enjoy the documentary "Spring Victory" (4 episodes) and the feature film "Saigon Special Forces" (4 episodes).
The documentary “Some images of the liberation of Saigon” and the feature film “The Wild Field” were shown on April 25. On April 26, the feature film “Liberation of Saigon” was shown.

Notably on this occasion are two films “Saigon Commandos” and “Saigon Liberation”, both directed by Long Van. These are films bearing the mark of Vietnamese cinema, about the resistance war against the US to save the country, about the victory of our army and people and the contributions and sacrifices of the soldiers.

The feature film “The Wild Fields” directed by Nguyen Hong Sen, written by writer Nguyen Quang Sang and composed by musician Trinh Cong Son, won many prestigious awards such as the Golden Lotus at the Vietnam Film Festival in 1980 and the Gold Medal at the Moscow International Film Festival in 1981. “The Wild Fields” not only recreates the fierce years of resistance, but also vividly depicts the simple but resilient life of the Vietnamese people.
