
Traphaco Sapa One Member Co., Ltd. currently produces many types of quality medicinal products in Lao Cai. The company has Sa Pa artichoke soft extract and Sa Pa artichoke mist tea products certified as national 5-star OCOP products. At the same time, these products are also certified to meet GACP-WHO standards.
Mr. Do Tien Si, Director of Traphaco Sapa One Member Co., Ltd., said that in order for the brands of companies and enterprises in Lao Cai to reach new heights, they must pay attention to applying technology to production to help improve product quality.


By the end of 2024, the whole country will have 190 enterprises with 359 products achieving the Vietnam National Brand; the value of the Vietnam National Brand is estimated at 507 billion USD, ranked 32nd in the world .
For Lao Cai province, all levels and sectors in the province have granted 419 trademarks, including: 50 collective trademarks, 20 certified trademarks, 349 ordinary trademarks without geographical names and 2 geographical indications. Some of these trademarks already have brands in the market such as: Seng Cu Muong Khuong rice, Muong Khuong chili sauce, Ta Thang Muong Khuong ancient San Tuyet tea, Bac Ha plum - pear, Su Su Sa Pa, Traphaco SaPa medicinal herbs...
According to Ms. Tran Thi Huong, Deputy Director of Manh Huong Medicinal Agricultural Products Cooperative, Gia Phu Commune, Bao Thang District, the cooperative pays special attention to building and promoting brand value, because building a product brand will contribute to improving the competitiveness of the product in the market.

With the goal of building and sustainably maintaining product brands, up to now, Manh Huong Medicinal Agricultural Products Cooperative has been recognized with 6 products meeting 3-star OCOP standards at the provincial level, 5 products recognized as typical rural industrial products (1 provincial product and 4 regional products).
In 2024, Manh Huong Medicinal Agricultural Products Cooperative was honored by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance as one of 63 outstanding cooperatives nationwide and won the first Cooperative Star award in Lao Cai province.
In particular, after more than 4 years of implementing Resolution 10 of the Provincial Party Committee on the Strategy for developing agricultural commodities in Lao Cai province to 2030, with a vision to 2050, the whole province has achieved many important results. Thereby, continuing to affirm that the development of agricultural commodities is the economic pillar of the province, the livelihood of over 77% of the province's population in rural areas.


Mr. Nguyen Huy Tuong, Deputy Director of Lao Cai Department of Industry and Trade, said that brand is the backbone of the product, if you want the product to develop, it must have a brand.
Lao Cai has a lot of potential for product development, especially agricultural products. In particular, many agricultural products of the province have achieved national OCOP product certification, which will be the premise for Lao Cai enterprises to develop and enter the list of Vietnamese National Brands.
"In the context of transforming the growth model based on science - technology and innovation, the role of brands is increasingly urgent. Therefore, the business community and cooperatives in the province need to promote the spirit of innovation, dynamism, creativity, strengthen cooperation to create products that achieve national brands and gradually reach international standards to affirm their position in the development of Lao Cai" - Mr. Tuong emphasized.
