Hanoi currently has 4 specialized high schools under the Department of Education and Training, including: Hanoi - Amsterdam, Nguyen Hue, Chu Van An and Son Tay. In addition, 4 specialized high schools belong to universities, including the University of Education, Natural Sciences , Social Sciences and Humanities, and Foreign Languages (Hanoi National University).
All eight schools have announced their 10th grade exam schedules this year. Of these, the High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities will hold the earliest exam, on May 24-25.

This year, Hanoi has about 127,000 students taking the junior high school graduation exam. The city's public high school 10th grade exam will take place on June 7-8 with three subjects: Math, Literature, and Foreign Language. This is the first year that students take the 10th grade exam under the new program, with the admission score being the sum of the three subjects without any coefficient.
