Details of the new, sportier Hyundai Ioniq 6, from VND 830 million

At the Seoul Mobile Show (Korea), Hyundai officially introduced the upgraded version of the electric Hyundai Ioniq 6. The car has a new look with many recognizable changes but still retains its unique style. The most prominent feature is the completely redesigned headlight cluster.

Unlike the large headlights that extend up to the hood like the old version, the upgraded Hyundai Ioniq 6 2025 uses thin LED daytime running lights located close to the hood, combined with separate headlights placed lower on the front bumper. This change not only creates a difference but also brings a more modern, sharp look to the Ioniq 6.

The exterior of the car has also been refreshed in some important details. The rear spoiler – which was originally two separate parts in the previous version – is now integrated into a seamless block on the trunk lid.

This not only improves aerodynamics but also maintains the soft, streamlined lines that are characteristic of this car line. The sides of the car are also refined by Hyundai with black cladding extending from the bottom up to the door, creating a more seamless and powerful feel.

In addition to the standard version, Hyundai also launched the Ioniq 6 N Line variant for those who love a strong, dynamic style.

This version not only has a rugged exterior with details such as the wing-shaped bumper and extended grille, but also retains Hyundai's signature two-dimensional Parametric Pixel design language. The highlight lies in the unique LED lighting details, creating a look that is both luxurious and individual.

Stepping inside, the upgraded Ioniq 6 offers a more comfortable and convenient space for users. The steering wheel is renewed with a 3-spoke design, integrating modern USB ports to meet the needs of charging devices.

The door panel material has also been improved, giving it a more premium feel. The center console has been subtly rearranged, combined with a larger air conditioning control screen, making it easier for the driver to operate and giving them a more intuitive experience when using it.

Hyundai has not yet revealed detailed specifications for the upgraded Ioniq 6. However, the current 2025 version has two engine options: a single motor with 149 horsepower or two motors reaching 320 horsepower. The Ioniq 6 attracted attention when it was launched in July 2022 with a drag coefficient of only 0.21, in the top 10 in the world .

The Long Range version uses a 77.4 kWh battery, rear-wheel drive, 18-inch wheels can travel a maximum distance of 614 km on a single full charge. In the actual test of Car and Driver magazine, the rear-wheel drive Long Range accelerated from 0-97 km/h in 6.2 seconds, while the 4-wheel drive version took only 4.3 seconds, showing impressive performance.

Regarding the price of the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 6 , in Korea, the current Ioniq 6 starts at 46.95 million won (about 830 million VND), while in the US, the lowest price is 39,045 USD (about 1 billion VND).
