Details of Honda HR-V hybrid 2025 in Vietnam, price fixed at 869 million VND

Honda Vietnam has just officially launched the new Honda HR-V 2025. In this second generation, Honda HR-V adds a more fuel-efficient hybrid e:HEV RS version, adding more options for Vietnamese customers. This is Honda's third car model in Vietnam equipped with a hybrid powertrain, following the CR-V and Civic.

The price of the 2025 Honda HR-V sold in Vietnam is for three versions, including a hybrid version (e:HEV RS) at 869 million VND and two gasoline versions (L, G) at 826 and 699 million VND respectively. Thus, Honda has removed the RS gasoline version and replaced it with the hybrid version e:HEV RS.

In the hybrid B-SUV segment in Vietnam, the HR-V e:HEV RS competes with the Toyota Yaris Cross HEV - a compatriot priced at 765 million VND. With the new pricing method, Honda shows that the sales target is focused on the L version with a selling price of 750 million VND, while the hybrid version is priced high at 869 million VND, as expensive as a C-size SUV.

In terms of appearance, the 2025 Honda HR-V e:HEV RS will have some significant tweaks, such as a more angular 3D grille and Porsche-inspired LED taillights. The G and L versions are expected to retain the current design, with the differences mainly in small details.

In particular, aiming for the perfect combination of aesthetics and performance, the new Honda HR-V 2025 e:HEV RS version is equipped with 18-inch wheels with a powerful multi-spoke design, helping to enhance the luxurious design and optimize grip when driving.

In terms of interior, Honda equips all versions of the HR-V with leather seats, while the old G version uses fabric seats. The two high-end versions RS and L have features such as Honda Connect connectivity, 8-speaker audio, 3 USB-C ports, 8-inch entertainment screen supporting wireless connection to smartphones...

In addition, the car is also equipped with wireless charging, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, remote start, and 8-way power driver's seat. All three versions of the 2025 Honda HR-V in Vietnam will continue to be equipped with the Honda Sensing safety package, helping to enhance safety and driver support.

The HR-V's hybrid engine is called the e:HEV RS. The car is equipped with a hybrid powertrain, including a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 105 horsepower, combined with a 129-horsepower electric motor. The car also has another motor that acts as a generator, providing energy to the battery and the drive motor.

According to the company's announcement, the HR-V hybrid saves 30% more fuel than the internal combustion engine version. Basically, the HR-V's e:HEV has the same setup as its two older brothers, the Civic and CR-V. The difference is that the two larger models use a 2.0 gasoline engine instead of a 1.5.

In addition, Honda Vietnam still keeps the L and G versions, equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with a capacity of 119 horsepower and a maximum torque of 145 Nm. Meanwhile, the old HR-V L uses a 1.5 turbocharged engine with a capacity of 174 horsepower and a torque of 240 Nm. With the L version not having turbo technology, the price has decreased by nearly 80 million VND.

Honda equips the 2025 HR-V with ADAS driver assistance technology with many features, such as CMBS collision mitigation braking system, AHB automatic adaptive headlights, adaptive cruise control including low-speed range, lane keeping assist, front vehicle departure notification. Other standard safety equipment such as Honda LaneWatch lane camera, tire pressure warning, reverse sensor, ABS/EBD/BA brakes, 8 airbags...
