Sina reported on May 5 that the first episode of Dap Gio 2023 has officially aired on Mango TV. In this episode, Chi Pu performed the song "Doa Hoa Hong" in Vietnamese and Chinese.

On stage, the 9x beauty wore a red dress that evoked the lyrics of the song. Without the backing dancers like in previous performances, Chi Pu confidently sang and danced. Hong Kong singer Hua Jingyun said Chi Pu's performance was a "magical performance". Choreographer Jingwei commented that the "Rose" singer has good singing and dancing skills, making her a formidable opponent to the other girls on the show.
With her solo singing and dancing performance, Chi Pu won 359 points, ranking 8th out of 33 people. Ella (member of the group SHE) ranked first with 384 points. In the next round, Chi Pu will perform the song "See Tinh" with Ella Tran Gia Hoa, Ngo Thien, and Truong Gia Nghe.
