On the morning of January 15, 2025, Hanoi Railways Branch organized the 2025 Labor Conference and the Conference to commend advanced models in the period of 2020-2024. Comrade Phan Quoc Anh - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation and Comrade Duong Thi Mo - Vice President of Vietnam Railways Trade Union attended and directed the conference. Comrade Trinh Ngoc Toan - Branch Director and Comrade Tran Thanh Tung - Chairman of the Branch Trade Union chaired the conference.
Carrying out the production and business tasks in 2024, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, with the close direction of the Vietnam Railways Corporation, the branch's staff and employees have been united, responsible, and strived to complete the set plan. Specifically:
Many targets were achieved and exceeded, such as the number of pick-up and drop-off trains reached 105% of the plan; revenue from leasing railway equipment reached 121% of the plan, revenue from transportation support services reached 113% of the plan; welcomed more than 2.7 million passengers (reaching 112% of the plan); ... In particular, the work of ensuring safety in all aspects has been identified by the Branch as a key task and has synchronously deployed many drastic solutions to maintain the safety of all trains and safety in all aspects.
Along with carrying out tasks and production and business plans, the Branch always cares about the lives of employees, fully and promptly resolves employee policies on labor, wages, safety and hygiene... In 2024, the average income of employees will reach over 12 million VND/person/month, an increase of 10% over the previous year...
Speaking at the Conference, Deputy General Director Phan Quoc Anh acknowledged the results that the Branch has achieved in the past year. At the same time, the Deputy General Director also shared information about the key tasks of the whole industry in the coming period. That is to continue to exploit the existing railway system well and prepare for the takeover and operation of high-speed railway in the future according to the Government 's orientation.
Regarding the 2025 mission, Mr. Phan Quoc Anh requested the Branch to develop a specific action program, coordinate well with the transport company to continuously improve service quality, serve the needs of train passengers, increase revenue and output, thereby increasing income for workers, continue to care for the material and spiritual life of workers to attract and recruit human resources... He also hopes that the collective of employees of the Branch will promote internal strength, raise their sense of responsibility, strive to successfully implement common goals and tasks for the sustainable development of the Railway industry.
Also at the conference, the Hanoi Railways Branch awarded 36 typical and outstanding individuals in the emulation and reward movement for the period 2020-2025, in order to encourage and motivate employees to continue to strive to promote emulation movements among employees, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio -economic tasks of the Branch and Vietnam Railways Corporation for the period 2025-2030.
