Chi Linh collected over 600 units of blood.

During the first voluntary blood donation campaign of 2025, Chi Linh City (Hai Duong province) collected more than 600 units of blood.

Over 600 units of blood collected at the blood drive were transferred to the Provincial General Hospital to be used in the treatment of patients (photo provided by the facility).

During the voluntary blood donation event themed "Chi Linh - A Thousand Pink Hearts" held on April 20th, a large number of officials, civil servants, employees, and citizens of Chi Linh City participated in blood donation. The city's Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation collected 602 units of blood, achieving 43% of the year's target. This blood was transferred to the Provincial General Hospital for patient treatment.

This is the first voluntary blood donation campaign of 2025 in Chi Linh City. This year, Chi Linh has been assigned to collect 1,400 units of blood. The Chi Linh City Blood Donation Campaign Steering Committee plans to organize 1-2 more large-scale blood donation drives in the city's wards and communes.

In 2024, Chi Linh City collected 1,800 units of blood, exceeding the target set by the province.

This activity is in response to the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day on April 7th.
