At that time, patient Quyen lost a lot of blood, his life was in danger, and he needed 2 units of type O blood urgently, but the hospital was out of blood, and no one in his family had the same blood type.

The whole family was in despair when Ms. Lo Thi Thuong (the patient's sister) thought of a way to send a message to the Lai Chau Provincial Police Fanpage asking for help from the police force.

Upon receiving the message, the Fanpage Administration Board reported to the Provincial Police Department's Board of Directors to direct and discuss with the Provincial Police Department's Youth and Women's Committee to urgently mobilize Youth Union members who are on duty and have blood type O to donate blood.

Immediately, Corporal Giang Xe Me - PC07 Department and Sergeant Tong Trung Thanh - PK02 Department volunteered to donate blood to transfuse for Mr. Quyen. With blood and timely transfusion, the patient overcame the danger.

Immediately after her brother was rescued, Ms. Lo Thi Thuong, on behalf of her family, sent a letter of thanks to the Lai Chau Provincial Police. In the letter, Ms. Thuong wrote: The police officers always think of and provide timely help to the people... The police officers donated precious drops of blood to save the lives of people in danger.

From this action, the Director of Lai Chau Provincial Police directed to reward 2 soldiers who directly donated blood and sent letters of commendation to recognize, encourage and commend units and individuals with noble actions and gestures.
