"Urgent" direction on the case of breaking the fence to open the door to Phu My I Industrial Park

Regarding the article "Uneasy about the situation of breaking the fence to make a door into the Industrial Park" reflecting on the situation of breaking the fence to make a door into the Phu My I Industrial Park, causing disorder and insecurity for society, on October 1, information from the People's Committee of Phu My Town (Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province) said that Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu My Town Nguyen Van Tham signed document 6074 /UBND-VP directing "urgent" inspection and verification of the content of the reflection on breaking the fence to make a way into Road No. 1A - Phu My I Industrial Park in Phu My Ward, Tan Phuoc Ward.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Phu My town directed the People's Committees of Phu My and Tan Phuoc wards to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Urban Management, the Department of Economics and related units to inspect land use and construction works on land plots adjacent to Road No. 1A - Phu My 1 Industrial Park according to feedback from people and the media.

The progress of the verification of the situation of breaking the fence to open the door to Phu My I Industrial Park depends largely on the coordination of IZICO.

At the same time, assign the Town Police to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to investigate and verify the illegal breaking of the fence of Phu My I Industrial Park in the area along Road 1A in Phu My I Industrial Park in Phu My Ward, Tan Phuoc.

Phu My Town People's Committee also assigned the Department of Justice, Department of Urban Management, Department of Natural Resources and Environment to proactively support and closely coordinate with the People's Committees of Phu My and Tan Phuoc wards, and the Town Police during the implementation process.

In addition, the People's Committee of Phu My town also requested the Dong Xuyen and Phu My I Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Exploitation Company (IZICO) to report and provide documents showing the inspection and management of individuals and organizations breaking the fence wall of Road 1A, Phu My ward, Tan Phuoc ward as well as the management of the infrastructure of the Industrial Park in this area to the People's Committee of Phu My ward, Tan Phuoc ward and Phu My town police to have a basis for inspection and handling the case according to regulations.

Mr. Hien added that there were many households living in this boundary area before the industrial park fence was built, so there were still cases where roads had to be left for people. However, people only needed small paths, while manufacturing and transportation businesses needed large gates.

Many sections of fence more than ten meters long were broken down to open passages for manufacturing and transportation businesses.

To completely and fundamentally handle this situation, according to Deputy Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Phu My district, Tran Van Hien, it is necessary to soon arrange capital to implement the recovery of green land to isolate Phu My I Industrial Park.

It is known that recently, the People's Committee of Phu My town has requested the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province to allocate capital to clear and relocate households to ensure a safe isolation corridor between the industrial park and residential areas according to the planning, stabilizing life and avoiding prolonged petitions and complaints.

According to statistics of Phu My Town People's Committee, the land area in the green corridor planning area to isolate Phu My I Industrial Park is 138.4 hectares and there are about 928 households with houses on it.
