Singapore issues special announcement on tickets
On the evening of December 21, the Vietnamese team delivered an excellent performance at Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho), defeating Myanmar 5-0. This result helped coach Kim Sang-sik and his team top Group B, 4 points ahead of the second-placed Philippines. According to the schedule of the Organizing Committee, the Vietnamese team, the first-placed team in Group B, will face the second-placed team in Group A - Singapore in the semi-finals. The first leg will take place at 8:00 p.m. on December 26, at Jalan Besar Stadium (Singapore).
After Singapore determined its opponents in the semi-finals of the AFF Cup 2024, FAS also began to announce plans to sell tickets to Jalan Besar Stadium. Tickets are expected to go on sale from 12:00 on December 22 (Singapore time) with 3 ticket categories: Type 1 with the best view of the stadium - priced at 49 Singapore dollars (about 1 million VND), type 2 tickets priced at 35 Singapore dollars (about 680,000 VND) and type 3 tickets priced at 24 Singapore dollars (about 450,000 VND). FAS also added that to ensure fairness, each fan can only buy a maximum of 4 tickets.

Vietnam team will be a guest in Singapore in the first leg of the semi-final of the AFF Cup 2024
FAS announced: "Tickets will be sold at Jalan Besar Stadium. We want to ensure that all Singaporeans have tickets to enter the stadium, creating a passionate atmosphere, contributing to helping the Singapore team achieve the goal of being present in the final match."
Notably, FAS also completed a separate ticket sales plan for Vietnamese fans: “Vietnamese fans will only be given 300 tickets to watch the first leg of the semi-final, each ticket costs 38 Singapore dollars (about 710,000 VND). At the same time, tickets will only be sold 5 hours before the match,” Channel News Asia revealed.
FAS pointed out the reason: "The above plan is set for the safety and interests of all spectators. The match organizers have the right to refuse away fans to enter the stadium if they violate the regulations. In addition, if they are sitting in the wrong area for Singapore spectators, away fans will also be asked to leave the stadium."
Only 300 Vietnamese fans were allowed into the stadium to cheer on coach Kim Sang-sik and his team in the first leg of the semi-final.
After the first leg match in Singapore, the Vietnamese team will return to Viet Tri Stadium to play the second leg (8pm on December 29). Tickets to Viet Tri Stadium will be available for sale from 8am on December 22, online via the OneU app. Notably, after only 15 minutes of opening for sale, all tickets of the ticket price were sold out, and are in a state of waiting for customers to successfully pay.
